After our last gig in November at the Liver in Crosby to a very appreciative crowd we have hunkered down in the wintry weather to record our next EP. Watch this space…
A great cause, and great beer! What’s not to like?
Thanks to Jake Summerton for the pictures.
Hi folks…
Ahead of our gig next Thursday 17th May at the Liver Hotel, Crosby, here’s a little taster of what you’ll hear…
A little clip of our tune ‘Madmen’.
Come on all you madmen and women…come and feel the noise…
We’ve just got hold of some photos from when we played the Liverpool Mental Health Festival and the Smithdown Road festival (the Fat Flamingo) on 7th October last year. What a great day – a great crowd at both venues giving us a great atmosphere, and really good to go from playing in the afternoon on an outdoor stage in Liverpool city centre for a really good cause, to the tiny, packed and sweaty Fat Flamingo in the evening, and with the wonderful Nicola Hardman on the same bill.
Thanks to Andy Summerton for the pictures 🙂
Lunacorona will be playing the Smithdown Road Festival All-Dayer, at around 9.30pm at the Fat Flamingo .
For more info about the event, go to the Smithdown Road Festival All-Dayer facebook event page.
We shared the stage with some great bands the other night at the Jacaranda for the We Are Live and Unsigned gig… Jamie Clague, Black Wax, Brick House and Cable and the Bay. It was packed out so there was a great atmosphere, and there was a great sound on stage (mixed by sound engineer Pat, formerly of Pink Studios, now the Motor Museum).
Here’s some great pictures from the night, taken by Jake Summerton…
We had a great time playing at the annual fundraiser for Shy Lowen Horse & Pony Sanctuary in Netherton, Merseyside, on 9th July this year. The annual event is organised by Patron Mike Badger and this year raised over £1600. Loads of people turned up, the sun shone all day, and the horses and ponies got to eat a lot of carrots to a soundtrack of wonderful local musical talent!
For more information about the wonderful work Shy Lowen does with young people and horses, visit their website.
Here’s some pictures from our set taken by Andy Summerton.
